GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach introduced Wednesday his 2026 budget proposal, which features key investments in the county’s infrastructure and the lowest property tax rate on record.
“After today, this will be the official budget that will then be turned over to the Brown County Board of Supervisors, who will go through their oversight committees that will then debate and discuss the budget that’s been presented,” Streckenbach said.
The board will hold its annual budget meeting Oct. 29 at 9 a.m. in the County Board Chambers on the lower level of the Brown County Central Library. Streckenbach’s office will then review the proposal again. The goal is to have the budget signed into law no later than Nov. 15…
