‘I won’t rest until there’s justice’: Mother demands action after charges dropped in daughter’s 2019 murder

ST. LOUIS — More than six years after 16-year-old Kristina Curry was found shot to death outside Roosevelt High School in 2019, her family thought they were finally on the path to justice.

But this week, a St. Louis grand jury found there wasn’t enough evidence to indict the teen’s boyfriend, who had been charged with first-degree murder just last month. The case was dismissed, and the man was released from jail.
