Rockford nonprofit renovates home for veteran in need

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – ETM Brighter Days Foundation and Lowe’s employees work to rebuild a home Wednesday for a local veteran.

Through Lowe’s ‘Hometown Hero’ program, the home improvement company donated supplies and labor to help finish rehabbing the home at 510 Acorn Street.

The project was started through the ETM Brighter Days Foundation, which provides services for those in underserved communities like veterans and those returning to society from incarceration.
