LYON COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) – On Thursday, Oct. 2, at a Board of Commissioners meeting, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Jeremy Tafelmeyer was honored with a lifesaving medal for helping save a person from a burning home in Dayton.
“Investigator Tafelmeyer’s courageous actions, quick decision-making, and extraordinary bravery directly resulted in the preservation of human life,” Sheriff Brad Pope said in a Facebook post. “For his heroism and selfless dedication to duty, Investigator Jeremy Tafelmeyer is hereby awarded the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Lifesaving Medal.”
