NORRISTOWN — During an emotional hearing, a 19-year-old Telford man was sent to prison for causing a one-vehicle crash that killed a friend who was a passenger in the car and for leaving the scene without seeking help for the victim.
Logan Allen Freed, of the unit block of Klingerman Road, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court on Friday to 5 to 10 years in a state correctional institution after he pleaded guilty to felony charges of accidents involving death and homicide by vehicle in connection with the April 24, 2025, crash in Salford Township that killed 15-year-old Noah Cecil, a front seat passenger in the vehicle.
Judge Risa Vetri Ferman, who accepted a plea agreement in the case, also ordered Freed to complete five years of probation following parole, meaning Freed will be under court supervision for 15 years…
