TROY, N.Y. (WNYT) — A man from Brooklyn is facing two decades in prison for leading police on a high-speed chase and crashing into a State Police trooper’s car.
It happened on Nov. 6, 2023. State Police attempted to stop Melquan Jordan, 35, in Schaghticoke. He sped away to Troy. The pursuit ended when Jordan jumped out of his vehicle while carrying over 8 ounces of cocaine, according to the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office.
