Chattanooga tests new paving material that helps roads last up to 15 years longer

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The city of Chattanooga says they’re testing out a new paving material that could make roads last 10 to 15 years longer.

Once city official says it will also cut costs in half.

Resident David Saylors says the road work is much needed as he’s always had trouble navigating the city.

He says that’s due to potholes and other imperfections in the roadway…
