Two people injured following vehicle crash in Ohio

OHIO — Troopers from the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on U.S. Route 33, about a mile west of State Route 347.

The collision occurred around 4 p.m. when a 2018 Chevrolet Express van driven by Cory Walters, 31, of Lakeview, struck the rear of a 2018 GMC pickup truck that had stopped in the westbound lane due to debris in the roadway. The impact pushed the GMC into the back of a 2018 Honda CR-V, which was also stopped.

The pickup’s driver, Paden Lopez, 38, of Wapakoneta, and the Honda’s driver, Amy Price, 40, of Dublin, suffered minor injuries. Both were taken by Tri-Valley EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment. Walters was not injured…
