Two drivers dead after head-on crash on Highway 411 in Blount County

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Two drivers are dead after a crash on Highway 411 in Blount County on Saturday afternoon.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol released its preliminary report on Thursday, which stated the crash happened on Highway 411 near Foxglove Lane.

The report said the crash happened as a 2017 Volkswagen Golf was traveling south on the highway and crossed into the northbound lane. The Volkswagen struck a 2018 Nissan Versa head-on and both vehicles spun.

The Nissan rolled onto its top, and a third vehicle, a 2014 Ford Escape, struck the front of the Volkswagen. The Ford came to a controlled stop north of the crash.

The driver of the Volkswagen, Blayr Corazzini, 25, and the driver of the driver of the Nissan, Angel Hume, 49, died as a result of the crash, the THP report said. The driver of the Ford was not injured…
