Man sentenced for putting hidden camera in Franklin & Marshall bathroom, recording students

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A man learned his sentence for secretly recording over a dozen women, who were students at Franklin & Marshall College, undressing in a dormitory bathroom.

John Riley, 20, of York Township, will spend between eight to 23 months of incarceration followed by nine years of probation after he was sentenced Oct. 1 by Judge Dennis Reinaker, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office said.

Riley previously pleaded guilty in June to 19 charges of intercepting communications, 19 charges of criminal use of a communication facility, two charges of possession of an instrument of crime with intent and 19 charges of invasion of policy, the DA’s Office said…
