Man who threatened to shoot Lubbock elementary school gets federal prison

LUBBOCK, Texas–Stephen Patrick Furr, 29, received an 18-month sentence in federal prison, which will run concurrently with any sentence imposed in Lubbock County, pending in the county.

Furr previously pled guilty to a charge in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Lubbock Division, concerning the online threats indicating he intended to carry out a school shooting.
