SPRINGFIELD, MO – This week marks the halfway point of a four-month-long construction project that has led to the closure of one of the city’s busiest streets.
Since the first week of August, W. Sunshine St., just west of Scenic Avenue, has been closed for the replacement of an overpass. The bridge, which spans the MNA Railroad, was torn down, and a new one is being built in its place.
