Fewer students enrolled in Wichita Public Schools, district says

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita Public Schools has released the district’s new enrollment numbers, which reveal a continuing trend.

USD 259 reports that its official enrollment for the current school year is just over 45,000 students. This is a decline from more than 46,000 students last year and over 47,000 the year before.
