DOT explains ways drivers, pedestrians can stay safe during Pedestrian Safety Month

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Governor Mike Dunleavy has declared October as Pedestrian Safety Month. It’s a tradition that has been going on for a number of years.

The declaration encourages “all Alaskans to renew their commitment to safe driving practices, to watch for pedestrians and cyclists, and to be mindful of all who share the road.”
