WildCraft announces apple drive and harvest party
WildCraft Cider & Pantry, a cidermaker that relocated from Eugene to Yachats in October 2024, announced its first apple drive for its new location. WildCraft frequently sources fruit for cider from community drives in which people donate excess fruit.
Donors can exchange 35 pounds of fruit (equivalent to a bushel) for vouchers for juice or cider to be received after the pressing. WildCraft will accept apples on Sundays and Mondays from noon to 5 p.m. or by appointment. To deliver in Yachats, park in front of the blue bay door for easy unloading, then check in with staff at the front counter.
For those in the Eugene area, find the WildCraft van in the parking lot of River Road Parks and Recreation at 1400 Lake Drive on Fridays from 2-6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. BRING Recycling, at 4446 Franklin Blvd., is accepting apples during donation hours of Monday through Saturdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. WildCraft reports that it already has received almost 9,000 pounds of apples…
