TROY — A Brooklyn man who led police on a high-speed chase between Schaghticoke and Troy nearly two years ago has been sentenced to 19 years in state prison.
Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly announced the sentencing of 35-year-old Melquan L. Jordan on Friday. The sentencing comes after a jury found him guilty on Aug. 7.
Jordan was charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal mischief, all felonies, as well as third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer, a misdemeanor…
