FIRST ALERT: Isolated showers and gusty winds to round out the weekend!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A coastal disturbance is slowly inching towards the coast, which will give us a chance for spotty showers for the end of the weekend!

The greatest chance of rainfall along the coast is expected to occur after midnight; most inland areas will remain dry through daybreak Sunday. Overnight lows should return to the 60s and low 70s.

Isolated showers will continue through Sunday morning and afternoon as moisture progresses from east to west. Rainfall amounts are likely to stay minimal; a brief downpour, however, cannot be ruled out south of I-26. Mainly dry conditions will ensue by Sunday evening, followed by a few more showers Sunday night into Monday morning…
