SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) — Summerville police are inviting residents to take part in what they call an honest conversation about trust and respect. The department will host a Dignity Project forum on Saturday, bringing neighbors and officers together for an open dialogue.
Deputy Chief Chris Hirsch said the project is about more than law enforcement. He described it as a grassroots effort to make sure police and residents understand one another.
