Suspect in 2024 murder found guilty

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The man accused of killing a man inside a car last year has been found guilty as of Thursday, Oct. 2.

D’Anthonie Jackson appeared in court on Thursday, where he was found guilty on two charges of murder, two charges of felonious assault, and discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises.

DPD investigating 2 homicides; days apart yet unrelated

In November of 2024, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Krammer Avenue, where they found Steve Dews dead inside a car. Investigation through cell phone data from the victim’s phone led them to Jackson.

Jackson’s sentencing has been scheduled for Oct. 15…
