FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Board of Education has appointed Dr. Don Phipps as the district’s next superintendent, effective Dec. 1, WS/FCS announced Friday.
Phipps has over two decades of experience in academia. Since 2018, he has served as superintendent of Caldwell County Schools. Before that, he led Beaufort County Schools for more than eight years. He began his career at Cumberland County Schools.
