MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — According to ALEA, a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:48 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, has claimed the life of a Grand Bay woman. Bernice L. Winston, 89, was critically injured when the 2009 Hyundai Sonata, she was driving, struck the 2006 Peterbuilt tractor-trailer, driven by Nathaniel M. Osterkamp, 63, of Grand Bay. Winston was transported to USA University Hospital in Mobile, where she later succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased.
