An arrest has been made in a July arson case that resulted in a teenager being hospitalized with serious injuries and caused significant property damage. Jack Viola, 18, turned himself in this week after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Viola faces two felony charges: arson causing great bodily harm and second-degree arson to a structure, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of July 10. According to investigators, Viola was with a group fishing overnight when one of the victims ran out of gas.
