BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The days of paying state taxes in cash are ending in Louisiana.
The Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR) announced its Baton Rouge office will stop accepting cash payments, effective Nov. 1. From that day forward, the office will only accept checks, credit cards, debit cards, and money orders.
