SEATTLE — Three people were arrested Wednesday night after what began as a ride-share arrangement from Spokane to Redmond turned into a violent attack and robbery in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District, police said.
A 39-year-old man told Seattle police that two men and a woman had agreed to give him a ride from Spokane to Redmond. He paid them $65 in gas money for the trip, but instead of taking him to his destination, they drove him to Seattle, according to authorities.
The situation escalated when the three suspects allegedly attacked the man, striking him with a handgun and stealing his personal belongings and $180 before he managed to break free and call for help, police said…
