PITTSFIELD, MASS. (WNYT) — An 85-year-old man has been charged in connection with a deadly crash that killed a pedestrian in Pittsfield.
Police said that Ricco H. Dus Jr. was driving in the area of 444 Barker Road around 2:30 p.m. on April 28, when he crossed the fog line and struck 62-year-old Shawn Ouilette. Ouilette was wearing a bright red shirt and walking on the shoulder of the road with his dog, according to our media partners at The Berkshire Eagle. He was pronounced dead at Berkshire Medical Center. The dog was not hurt.
