From Broadway classics to retro screenings to ongoing exhibits, Durham welcomes October with a consistent helping of arts offerings.
DPAC has a lighter selection this week, with just one—albeit extensive—event. “The Sound of Music” comes to Durham for eight performances that stretch from Tuesday evening through Sunday. Three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien directs this stage classic as it continues its North American Tour.
Another of Durham’s staples, the Carolina Theatre, is hosting three events. Their week begins with “Steven Wilson: The Overview Tour” on Wednesday.
