HISTORIC TRIANGLE – The Historic Triangle area’s recycling provider is planning to launch its own subscription-based service for James City County residents after the Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority (VPPSA) abruptly canceled its contract with the company a week ago.
TFC Recycling, a locally owned business founded in 1973, said in a statement that VPPSA has been “unreasonably scrutinizing” their performance and “making demands well above required contractual terms and conditions.”
