A Honduran national is facing federal charges after allegedly assaulting two detention officers at the Karnes County Immigration Processing Center, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas announced.
Jorge Alberto Maradiaga-Carias made his initial appearance in federal court in San Antonio on Thursday, charged with one count of assaulting, resisting or impeding a federal officer(s).
