18 people displaced after apartment fire in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A fire at an apartment complex in Evansville early Sunday morning has displaced 18 people, according to the Evansville Fire Department.

Around 3 a.m. Sunday, Evansville Fire Department crews were displaced to the 700 block of Biltmore Way for reports of flames and smoke coming from the top of an apartment complex. Multiple 911 calls were received, including one caller reporting a neighbor’s apartment on fire with uncertainty if anyone was inside.
