Detroit police chief determined to find suspects who shot 2 teens, killing 1, Monday morning

DETROIT (WWJ) — One teenager is dead and another is in hospitalized critical condition, according to police, after a double shooting on Detroit’s east side.

Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison told reporters the shooting happened at around 7:30 a.m. Monday on Littlefield Street, in a neighborhood near Schaefer Rd. and Chicago.

“We were first drawn to the location because of our technology Shotspotter, and so our officers responded here very, very quickly, and found two individuals in their late teens suffering from gunshot wounds,” Bettison said…
