Alamance County residents can support law enforcement through new honorary membership program

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Responding to growing community interest in supporting law enforcement, Alamance County Sheriff Terry Johnson announced Monday that residents are invited to become Honorary Members of the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association.

Membership applications are being mailed this month. Individuals can join the voluntary program for $25, while businesses can contribute $50. Funds raised help provide technical resources, legislative support, scholarships for criminal justice students, and additional training for sheriffs and deputies across the state…
