Kalamazoo County township approves tax hike for police coverage

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI — Comstock Township trustees voted 6-1 to raise property taxes in the township on Monday, Sept. 29.

The additional tax funds will support law enforcement, per township documents. Specifically, 24-hour coverage from a Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Deputy.
