72 homes sought for Ocala site near busy SR 200 intersection

A property owner is seeking approval to develop 72 homes at a 19.62-acre site in Ocala, less than a mile from one of the city’s busiest intersections.

The new development, Capozolli Hills, was one of the agenda items discussed during the Marion County Development Review Committee’s weekly meeting, which takes place on Monday mornings.

Owned by Linda Capozzoli, a local health and life insurance broker, the site is located at 7325 SW 80th Street in southwest Ocala and is currently zoned agricultural (A-1).
