According to the SDPD Watch Commander’s Log, the accident occurred yesterday at approximately 3:22 PM along 2100 Hotel Circle South. The individual was thrown from the e-scooter after losing control and sustained an open fracture to his fibula, necessitating immediate transportation to a local hospital for treatment.
Officer J. Perales, listed as the Watch Commander, stated that the man was riding the e-scooter westbound in the center median before the incident occurred.
