Logistics firm to shutter St. Pete facility, impacting roughly 100 employees

A French logistics company will permanently close its St. Petersburg facility next January, impacting nearly 100 employees.

ID Logistics US Inc. will be shutting down operations at 2007 and 2005 Gandy Blvd. N. on Jan. 31, 2026. The company, according to executives, then plans to transfer all operations and customer business from the St. Petersburg location to another facility located in Ruskin

The company made the announcement Oct. 2 in a letter sent to the Florida Department of Commerce. Companies are required to alert local and state authorities of mass layoffs under the federal Worker adjustment and Retraining Notification Act…
