U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to support economic development and youth services in Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Congressman Bennie G. Thompson announced Monday morning that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Administration of Children and Families, has awarded two new federal grants totaling more than $1 million.

The Jackson Resource Center has been awarded $800,000 under the Community Economic Development Program.
