MADISON, Wis. — A 44-year-old man is facing two tentative counts of armed robbery for allegedly stealing from a business on Madison’s near east side Friday, according to police.
Officers responded to the 2900 block of Washington Avenue near the intersection of Washington Avenue and E. Johnson Street. A business employee reportedly recognized the man, who had been previously banned from entering the premises. The man was chased away after he unsuccessfully attempted to rob the business.
