Firefighters put out house fire, handle downed power line in Lebanon, Oregon

LEBANON, Ore. — Lebanon Fire crews put out a house fire on Monday morning, saying they had to deal with a downed power line while fighting the blaze.

The fire was reported at about 7:20 a.m. in the 100 block of South Williams Street.

Firefighters cut a hole in the roof to let heat and smoke vent from the home, “improving visibility and survivability in case anyone is still in the building.”…
