SUMTER, S.C. (WIS) – The CEO of a Sumter bank and his wife are hospitalized after a serious motorcycle crash in North Carolina.
The SAFE Federal Credit Union announced on Monday that Michael Baker and his wife, Carrie, were both injured in a motorcycle accident that happened while they were traveling over the weekend. They’re both being treated in the intensive care unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.
The credit union said in a statement that they “all wish him a full and speedy recovery, though we know it will take time.” It also said that the rest of the board will continue to “ensure the credit union remains on course and true to its mission of service to our members and communities.”…
