Asheville students, performing arts group unite for nationwide play series on gun violence

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A local high school and performing arts group are joining forces to participate in a nationwide movement aimed at exploring solutions to gun violence in the United States.

Asheville High School’s Theatre Arts Program and Different Strokes! Performing Arts Collective are collaborating to present “Enough! Plays to End Gun Violence.”

On Monday, Oct. 6, six new plays written by American teenagers will be staged across the country. More than 150 communities are participating, including Asheville, according to a release from Asheville City Schools…
