MATTHEWS, N.C. (WBTV) – Perfect October weather drew people outdoors across the Carolinas, but their peaceful moments were increasingly interrupted by the roar of illegally modified vehicles.
“It’s pretty idyllic and it’s pretty wonderful unless somebody comes by revving their engine and just completely interrupting the mood and the moment,” said Katie Wright, who was dining outside in Matthews with friend Tina Angers.
The women rated the disruption as “10 out of 10 annoying” and “very unnecessary.”…
