Evansville city budget approved by city council

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The Evansville City Council met Monday, setting in place a new budget for the next fiscal year.

City officials officially approved the budget at Thursday’s meeting. The budget covers costs for the city such as a general fund to upkeep the city, a law enforcement training fund and money for parks and recreation.
