CHICKASAW, Ala. (WKRG) — A business in Chickasaw is working to recover after a fire in early September destroyed the building.

Mobile police identify man killed in Navco Road shooting

The Hall Namie Packing Company, a community staple located on Iroquois Street in Chickasaw, went up in flames on Sept. 9.

Officials believe the fire started in the boiler room.

Though parts of the building are still standing, most of the property was destroyed during the blaze.

News 5 visited the site more than three weeks after the incident.
