We first covered Brentwood’s long-planned Costco back when construction was still underway. The wait ended on March 7, 2025, when the massive warehouse officially opened at 5151 Heidorn Ranch Road. On opening day, crowds lined up early, traffic slowed around Lone Tree Way, and Contra Costa County got one of the largest Costco locations in California.
