City of Wilmington welcomes new chief of staff

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The City of Wilmington is welcoming its new Chief of Staff, Dennis LaCaria.

As the new chief of staff, Lacaria will lead initiatives, coordinate across departments and turn strategic vision into results across Wilmington.

He previously served as executive director of facilities management for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and secured the state’s largest school bond referendum at $2.5 billion. He also obtained $26.5 million in local funding and managed a $9 billion portfolio of physical assets…
