LUBBOCK, Texas — In the midst of the government shutdown, Lubbock National Bank is looking to offer support to its members affected by it.
In a release, the local bank said it would be deferring loan payments for those that are unable to receive their normal paychecks. This list of qualifying members include any federal government employee or defense contractors who have accounts, mortgages or loans through LNB. The bank noted that it will review each situation on a case-by-case basis before granting the aid.

Mortgages: LNB will offer forbearances on mortgage payments for up to six months or until the government shutdown ends—whichever comes first.
