The information was incorrectly provided by a source related to the story and has since been updated in the online version.
For those still looking to report their concerns, MDE is urging residents to use the app Smell MyCity, which is “designed to crowdsource reports of pollution odors travelling through our cities,” according to the Smell MyCity’s website.
With the data collected through the app, regulators at MDE can then assemble a data set to begin to address where the smell is coming from…
