His term so far has been marked by the passage of a voter-approved transit referendum, East Bank development and simmering tensions between the city and state. Most recently, two top officials have left the administration: Bob Mendes and former Chief of Staff Marjorie Pomeroy-Wallace, who’s been replaced by Masami Tyson.
