Barrington police issue warnings to e-bike riders as crackdown continues

BARRINGTON, R.I. (WPRI) — It appears the Barrington Police Department’s efforts to crack down on electric motorized bicycles — more commonly known as e-bikes — have paid off.

The Barrington Police Department announced over the summer that it would be ramping up patrols to prevent “dangerous operation of electric motorized bicycles” in town.
