(WJAR) — A Woonsocket man is being remembered after his family said he drowned during a camping trip last month.
Mohamadou Drammeh was a beloved member of the Rhode Island Muslim community and was very involved at his Mosque in North Smithfield.
“He was a very unique and special man,” said his daughter Aisha Drammeh. “He was a very strong person and always encouraged us to stay strong and preserve life and so that’s what we’ve been doing.”
